Nokia E6 Available For Pre-order In..pakistan..At A Very Very Exciting Price

Nokia E6 is the next generation Business phone from Nokia, With looks similar to it sibling, the Nokia E72, Nokia E6 brings a lot of improvements that everybody has been waiting for. First and foremost improvement that caught our attention was the Anna OS. For those who are new, its the same Symbian OS but improved very much in terms of usability and features. That said, the biggest improvements is to the web browser which has been a big let down on the Symbian platform so far. Web pages now load faster and are easy to navigate. The entire UI has also been revamped in the Anna. The icons are rounder and shinier with a lot of colors which makes them a joy to look at through the 326ppi 2.46 inch screen.
The phone as you might have guessed comes with hardware QWERTY keyboard in a candy bar form factor, it shoots high quality photos with the inbuilt 8MP camera. The full focus camera may not be everyone’s cup of tea but you’ll get used to it(well, you have to). It also does 720p HD video recording which is nice for a business oriented phone. And if you are worried where you would store all these great pictures and videos, then you must know Nokia E6 comes with 8GB of inbuilt memory and if that’s not enough, it’s microSD card slot can read up to 32GB microSD cards. Nokia E6 also comes with Ovi maps preinstalled with voice guided navigation which is a lifetime free navigation service. Check out the Nokia E6 promo video below.
The five home screens on the Nokia E6 will help you organize/dedicate home screen for different items. Say work, home or personal. Nokia E6 also comes with all the connectivities you want. And like all Nokia phones, its a full check whether its 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth anything. You name it, E6 has it. And to get you through all day, Nokia E6 is powered by a 1500mAh battery. Nokia E6 comes in Black, White and Silver. And the most exciting part ?? Well, it’s the price. The Nokia E6 is available at a pre-order price of Rs 17,999/-. I had to read it twice to actually believe it. Since this is the pre-order price a price drop is imminent when stocks are available. Considering the price of Nokia E7 during launch, this is very wisely priced and tempting for many. We’re glad that Nokia India did it right this time.
So, who all are going to pre-order it today ?? Because if you have plans for it, This Is Where You Should Click

Nokia E7 Review Nokia E7 Features Nokia E7 Specifications

Add caption
The Nokia E7 smartphone with QWERTY and touch screen is here; with a punch line success doesn’t need a desk. Those who were eagerly waiting for this mobile handset in India can now rush to their nearest Nokia dealer and can buy one. Some network companies like Vodafone have also come up with some exclusive offers for its customers.
The Nokia E7 comes loaded with social networking application and mobile office solution. So no matter where you are you can always make sure you carry your desk with you.  The Nokia E7 can help you edit, create and view office documents. You can check emails and also access Twitter and Facebook. There are thousands of applications that one can find on Ovi Store.
The E7 is powered by 680 MHz ARM 11 processor, Broadcom BCM2727 GPU and running on the Symbian^3 OS. Those who have already been using the Windows 7 mobile OS and the Google Android may not be comfortable using this phone.
This handset comes with 8 MP digital camera that can shoot pictures in 3264×2448 pixels resolution, the camera also features the dual-LED flash. The camera comes with other features like face detection and geo tagging. Video can be recorded in 720p@25fps the secondary video is VGA.
The main highlight is the Nokia clear black display with Scratch resistant Gorilla glass and QWERTY keyboard. The handset also features multi touch input method.  The display type is AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that supports 16M colours and of size 101.6mm.
The phone also houses a Proximity sensor for auto turn-off and Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate.  This Nokia E7 mobile phone supports GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB (microUSB 2.0 with USB on-the-go support).
The phone gets power from Standard battery, Li-Ion 1200 mAh (BL-4D) that can last for up to 432 hours in standby mode and up to 9 hours in Talktime.
The Nokia E7 is priced at Rs. 29,999/- for Vodafone customers they can avail 3G/EDGE services of 2GB per month for 6 months.
Though the Nokia E7 looks good and has decent number of features the weak point is its operating system. I had used the Nokia 9500 before but after using windows mobile OS and now the Google Android OS, Nokia E7 Symbian^3 OS does not excite me.

Symbian is just about to be knocked off the top-spot as the market-leading smartphone platform. Worse yet, while loyal users are still sitting on a fence about replacing their E71/E72s Nokia is deciding whether to euthanize Symbian. Question marks have been hanging over the platform’s approach to touchscreen since day one. And now it’s got WP7 at its very doorstep. It’s the worst of times for the Nokia E7. But it’s up to it to show that the Eseries are still open for business.
Key features
•Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support
•Penta-band 3G with 10.2 Mbps HSDPA and 2 Mbps HSUPA
•Anodized aluminum unibody
•4" 16M-color ClearBlack AMOLED capacitive touchscreen of 640 x 360 pixel resolution
•Scratch resistant Gorilla glass display
•8 megapixel fixed-focus camera with LED flash
•720p video recording @ 25fps
•Symbian^3 OS
•680 MHz ARM 11 CPU and 256 MB RAM
•Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
•microHDMI port 720p TV-out functionality
•GPS receiver with A-GPS support and free lifetime voice-guided navigation
•Digital compass
•16GB of on-board storage
•Active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic
•DivX and XviD video support
•Built-in accelerometer and proximity sensor
•Standard 3.5 mm audio jack
•Stereo FM Radio with RDS, FM transmitter
•microUSB port with USB On-the-go
•Flash and Java support for the web browser
•Stereo Bluetooth 3.0
•Good quality audio
•Smart and voice dialing
•Office document editor preinstalled
Main disadvantages
•Symbian^3 is still behind Android and iOS usability standards
•Ovi store content is inferior to Android market and App Store
•Fixed-focus on an 8 megapixel camera is just wrong
•Camera interface is decidedly outdated
•Battery is not user-replaceable
•No microSD card slot
Now, Nokia reconfirmed their commitment to Symbian in the short-term, but that doesn’t mean much. If the platform is to be scrapped, users will learn it the hard way when regular updates stop coming in. Occasional bug-fixes is the best they can hope to get. And good software support is among of the main reasons why people still choose Nokia.
However, how much short-term can stretch depends on the success of the current Symbian^3 devices. So if the Nokia E7 does at least as well on the market as the N8, it might as well buy the platform a few extra years.
As you can see from the lists above, the Nokia E7 is basically a larger N8, trading the camera bulk for a a larger and better display and a full QWERTY keyboard. To be honest though, when we reviewed the N8 it was mostly the camera we were delighted with. Then, that was five months ago and the bar is set higher now.

Business as usual for the Eseries is a cliché – thank you very much. But the kind that makes the world feel right. The Nokia E7 could’ve been just another Eseries phone. Oh well, that wasn’t meant to be. The latest is implicitly the greatest but, in the case of the E7, the latest may simply be the last......

Introduction
Nokia is trying really hard to build back some lost trust. The new Symbian^3 smartphones are just one weapon in their armory. The other is the touch-enabled lineup of feature phones called Touch and Type. S40 has never before been into the touch business, but the X3-02 is here to change all that.
You have the right to remain skeptical. In fact a healthy does of skepticism is welcome – this market just might not have enough room for yet another touchscreen feature phone. And it’s a S40 phone at that. But you know what – the Nokia X3-02 will not listen to doubters. It’s a phone whose glass is always half full. Half full with touchscreen and half full with keys.

Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type official photos
The Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type doesn’t rely on its touchscreen only but on good looks and charm too. It comes in four different colors and has a redesigned keypad. That’s right, Nokia refuses to give up on the good old numeric keypad and it will be an essential companion on the X3-02.
So, you have the touch, and you have the type. There’s the right measure of style too. But that’s not always enough for a classy phone. People want features as well. So, let’s take a closer look at them.
Key features
•Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support
•Quad-band 3G with 10Mbps HSDPA and 2Mbps HSUPA
•Neat and well built, slim and lightweight, metal on the body
•2.4" 256K-color resistive TFT QVGA touchscreen
•S40 6th edition UI
•5 megapixel fixed-focus camera
•VGA video recording at 15fps
•Wi-Fi b/g/n
•Stereo FM radio with RDS, Visual radio
•Bluetooth v2.1 (with A2DP)
•Standard microUSB port (charging enabled)
•USB On-The-Go
•microSD card slot (32 GB supported, 2GB included)
•3.5mm audio jack
•Innovative vibrating touch feedback
Main disadvantages
•Small screen (for a touch phone)
•No multitasking
•No GPS
•Fixed-focus camera
•No document viewer
•No smart dialing
•No video-call camera
•No accelerometer sensor
There are quite a few things left off of this S40 handset, but it’s the first with a touchscreen on board. Wi-Fi is a rarity on this platform too. In fact we’ll admit quite ahead of our conclusion – we do like the Nokia X3-02 already.

The Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type Dark Metal and White Silver versions all over

But it’ll take more than that. You’ll have to simply love it. You’ll have to not notice the bad. One thing the Nokia X3-02 won’t give you is multitasking. Another important absentee is GPS and navigation. We just can’t have everything, can we? That might be quite an omission for some, but we hope the performance and ergonomics will make up for that. Let’s see how those shape up right after the jump
